We too are using ProtectTier, started with VTF-Open. VTFopen in a Clustered environment is fast a 2node Cluster 100MBS. We expected better factoring, in additional to removing client side compression

We are also using Diligent ProtecTier, and are in the process of migrating to Netbackup from TSM :-( As a result we are taking weekly full backups and the hyperfactoring is great.. averaging around 3
