It is 3584tape library. If I do a 'show slots library_name' it will show me the details, but I would like to know what is how many slots left. Thanks. PVR slot information for library ELTO. Library :

You can find out the total volumes in the library by doing a sql query like this, select count(*) from libvolumes where library_name='ELTO' It is 3584tape library. If I do a 'show slots library_name'

Hi Avy, We have a 3584lib, and I would reccomend using the IBM Ultrascalable specialist. It is the web-based utility for managing the library. This will tell you exactly how many slots are available

We have a 3494 library. In AIX, you can run the following command : mtlib -l /dev/lmcp0 -qL /dev/lmcp0 is the name of the library device which is FC attached to our TSM server Output will be similar
