    Default SANergy configuration

    Hello guru!
I try to implement LAN-Free backups to disk. I am new for TSM.
I installed TSM Server 5.4 and TSM Client on win2003. Hosts are AIX 5.3 ML04. After installing SANergy I made nfs-share on server, exported, then mounted it on the host. Everything is ok. But when I type on the client:
    ./SANergyconfig
    Command> fuse /sandisk2
    FTX1028W getVolumeInfo: Transaction failed 10
ERROR|Unable to find all the disks. Check error log for more information.

/sandisk2 is nfs mount point on the client.
Please help me to understand the SANergy functionality in the case of exporting/importing mount points. What I have to do with mounted nfs point on the client and what on the TSM Server?

    Thank you in advance

The fuse process matches the disks client and server can physically see though the san to whatever nfs shares are currently mounted. Make sure, client and server "see" the disks through your san (LUN masking, zoning, device-scan and recognition etc. should show the physical disks available on client AND server).

I have a LUN from array. I made zoning. And now this LUN is available from TSM Server and from TSM Client. I checked in this LUN on Windows TSM Server (and this machine is MDC too) as drive "J:", formated it to NTFS file system and made directory "sandisk2". Also I made share and nfs-share for this directory "J:/sandisk2". After it on the client host I made nfs-import and mounted this nfs-share as "/sandisk2" in rootvg.
    So my questions:
What I have to do with LUN that I zoned for AIX client host? I have to do VolumeGroup, LogicalVolume, FileSystem anything else?
    I am very confused.

Can you see the corresponding hdisk as available when running a "lsdev -Cc disk" on the AIX client?

I use an EMC CX3-40 array with PowerPath. So I see this disk as hdiskpower2:

    hdiskpower2 Available 0A-09-02 PowerPath Device

    Hello!
I found one my mistake in configuration device classes and pools. I repaired them. But now I have another error. Take a look please:
    bash-3.00# mount

The rhdiskpower2 is Powerpath drive (rhdisk23,25,21,19 are the FC path to this drive).
Don't know what to do next...
