One of my library drives while loading scratch tapes gives "I/O error" from the library slot.
"ANR8302E I/O error on drive ST0 (/dev/rmt/10mt) with volume 06F069 (OP=READ, Error Number=145, CC=205, KEY=FF,ASC=FF, SCQ=FF,SENSE=**NONE**,Description=SCSI adapter failure). Refer to Appendix D in the 'Messages' manual for recommended action.(SESSION: 22358, PROCESS: 231)
I guess thats an issue with either the drive or the volume.
Now I want to check the tape & drive both.
Is there any command where in I can load a scratch or any tape from the Library slot to a single drive in library(here its SL500), and perform test write/read operation, to check the status of the tape or drive.
Thanks in anticipation.
Regards,
KK
