we are looking into using linux as a TSM platform and are looking for feedback from anyone currently using TSM on this platform in an enterprise environment. Since Linux is a new platform for TSM we are a little worried about using it right now. We want to be on the cutting edge, but not bleeding edge of technology.

We've been testing it in our lab and it performs reasonably well, however, we've discovered that the driver support is lacking in comparison to it's AIX and even W2k counterparts.
If you have relatively popular/recent devices, you may be ok.
Cheers.
