I attended the IBM Tivoli Storage Manager Administration class last week in Lenexa, KS (hosted through Nationwide Training Alliance) and came away with more than I had hoped for. I highly reccomend this class as taught by one Will Jacobsen. The scope of the written material was covered and the insructor allowed for the students to steer the training to our needs.
I walked away with a wealth of information; much more than I could have from reading the Administrator's Guide and Reference Manual and the student exercises gave me confidence that I could recover my organisation's data in the event of a disaster.
TSM is a beast. Granted, a highly flexiable beast - but beast he be....
(Flashbacks from Mobdy Dick - TSM being the whale?)
Thanks Mr. Jacobsen for the information.
So Long, and thanks for all the fish.
