    Would anyone have a script that would allow me to stop the Lotus Notes server, capture a backup, and then restart it? Thanks.

    Hi,

    On Windows you can add, I believe Notes run as a Windows service, just double check the name:

    :: stop the Lotus Notes service

    net stop <name of Lotus Notes Service>

    .

    .

    :: Add some lines to check if the service has stopped if not wait

    :: Run the backup

    dsmc incr

    :: start the service

    net start <name of Lotus Notes Service>

    It will make your life easier if you use TDP for Notes instead.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks for the help. From the feedback I've been getting plus the research I'm doing I would have to agree with you on the TDP for Notes.
