Hi,
Need urgent help.
I wish to know whether the TSM server can be migrated from one platform to another (for eg migrating TSM server from Windows paltform to AIX platform)using the export/import server commands or indeed by using any other commands.
If it is possible request you to please help by giving the exact commands for the same.
Thanks & Regards,
Ritesh

Hello,
You can use export server command. It's output is platform independent, so you can do export on Windows and import on AIX. Actually I neved did that, but it should work. You probably should have defined DB, Recovery log and storage pool volumes with sufficient capacity on the server where you will do the import.
Hope it helps--CrazyMaD
