Default HP MSL 2024 instead IBM TS3200

Tape library IBM TS3200 of my clients was broken. I must to buy a new tape library and I choose HP MSL 2024. Can I use old tape with information which was saved on TS3200 with TSM?

Why the price of HP MSL 2024 is more expensive than the price of IBM TS3100?

If the format is LTO, then all should be compatible EXCEPT if you had hardware encryption enabled.

As for the price, I could not comment on that.

I am a IBM die-hard from the TSM viewpoint. So I would say IBM but that will be a biased opinion.
