'nohup /opt/tivoli/tsm/client/ba/bin/dsmc sched &' Giving error

Hi ,

I'm having problem with backup of some of my linux client machines. It's not able to contact TSM server automatically and TSM schedules are going in pending state.(Resulting to 'missed events')
While the schedules are in pending state if i restart the TSM scheduler server(Although it gives error) , backup get started.
I use below way to start/restart TSM scheduler service
[root@_______ bin]# nohup /opt/tivoli/tsm/client/ba/bin/dsmc sched &
[1] 24553
[root@______ bin]# nohup: ignoring input and appending output to `nohup.out'

Output from nohup.out
[root@______ bin]# more nohup.out

My TSM server version is 'Storage Management Server for AIX-RS/6000 - Version 5, Release 5, Level 3.0'

Please suggest.

dsm.sys: Make sure that you have all the parameters correctly defined?

SCHEDMODE Prompted

start the cad via inittab and try again
