TSM Database restore from vaulted tape

Hello - We had a TSM database corruption and now TSM will not start. I need to restore our TSM database from a tape that was sent to our offsite vault. My question in, how to I check the tape in so that TSM knows its in the tape library? When I try the restore it says it can't access the required volume because it is offsite in our "vault". I can manually check the tape in through out library interface, but how will TSM know where to look?

you should paste the console output here with the exact error. tsm version/details on the library/drives might be nice to know too.

Thanks for the quick response. I actually got it figured out. I had to modify the devconfig file to include only a manual library and one drive and mount the DB restore tape when requested by the console. The database was restored successfully from tape but I am having other problems now, which I will open a new thread for. Thanks.
