How to exchange backup multiplexing /Weekly/Mountly/Yearly

Hi All,

İ want to define different excbackup job but i want to do this using via flash copy manager gui.But on the gui only allow daily, wekly and hourly.

i need;

1) daily backup i have to keep this it 7 days
2)Weekly backups . i have to keep it 4 week
3)Mountly backups. i have to keep it 1 year
4)Yearly backups. i have to keep it 10 years.

how to should i design arcitechure. Could you please help me.

The FCM plugin for the MMC can schedule backups. However this scheduler is the windows scheduler and I believe they also offer monthly. The only other way would be to use the TSM Scheduler and setup the jobs you want to run from the TSM Server. It will still use VSS. You will have to make a few management classes as well if you want to have a varied retention period.
