TSM Client 5.5 update to 6.2 - TSM Server 5.5

We use TSM server TSM Client 5.5 and 5.5.

We intend to update the TSM Client 5.5 to version 6.2 without REBOOT run on servers (we have more than 200), which procedure?

In time, which features the TSM Client 6.2 can offer? (best practices)

Since we can not reboot the system.
Do not install the OFS feature, this will require a system reboot.

Platform: Windows Server 2003 SP2, SUN Solaris 10 and Linux 2.6.18-4-686 (Debian).

All you need to do is stop the services, install the new code, update the dsm.opt file and restart the services.

Easy to script and to run.... we've done it on more than 500 servers... the only catch for us was we needed to log on to each server to update the DSM.OPT file.

So how did you SCRIPT, can you show me an example?

The dsm.opt need not be changed after the update will be made only TSM Client, agree?
