Hello All,

We have a server which only backs up 1 gpfs volume which is 35TB (29TB in use) recently there was an issue with the volume and it got detatched from the server. After this we are seeing these messages in the actlog asking for 1.9PB. So far under "q se" Bytes Recvd = 40TB. We think it the server wont finish backing up until it reaches 1.9PB.

I know you can increase maxscratch to resolve this and we have plenty of scratch, But I dont think that is the problem.

How is this possible?
