Drive polling issue

Hi Team,

In my current support envinorment drive suddenly went to polling state and unable to mount the tapes.

Q drive output as follows:

Hi,

- have you checked for hardware errors on your library?
- does your OS (which?) still see the library?
- are the paths to your library/drive still online?

With a 3494 library it could be a network issue as well, since the library communicates via TCP/IP. With any library issues I was always troubleshoot outside of TSM. Use ITDT or tapeutil to try and communicate with the library and drives.
