9840B FC drives in L700
Hi,
I need your input on the following.
We have a customer who used 3 x 9940B FC drives in a L700...
They removed the 9940's... more than three ago and installed LTO2 drives...
They now want to use the same tray's that was for the 9940's and install 9840B FC drives... the library code is 3.13... and the drives 1.30-/ 1.35...
I installed the drives and rebooted the L700... on the op panel I just see the drives positions 00, 01, 02 - and next to it "configuring"... instead of "empty" after it configured.
Under drive configuration on the op panel, I can see 9840 drives but that is all... no other information like WWN, etc.
There are NO FC cables connected to the drives...
The drive library addresses I made FF - is this correct?
Please share some thoughts with me...
