Restore only Transaction logs
I have restored the full backup successfully and did not perform the recovery because we wanted to continue to restore transaction logs, however in the GUI when i select the transaction log backup that occurred after the full, it also selects the full and i cannot uncheck it. I attempted the restore with both selected and it appears to be either restoring the full again or at least sending the data of the full from TSM to the SQL server. The full on this server was 7TB so it takes a while.
I know if the backups were taking in SQL server we as long as we left the database in recovery mode we could continue to apply transaction log. As long as I apply them in order is there a way in TSM to restore just the Transaction logs?
Thank you

Yes it will need the FULL backup since no recovery was done. If the database is up and running and you need to apply portions of the transaction logs, then TDP will do so knowing that the DB has been recovered, and is actve.
