ANS1128S error
Hi
TSM version 6.1 Linux redhat
Two servers that was in our exiting tsm sept ups have had to be rebuilt. i am now trying to add them back as new nodes ( removed the originals)
when i try to log on to the server with the new node i get the following error
ANS1128S The management class assigned to directories does not exist
My set up for dsm.sys is
se in_gurg_prod1
COMMMethod TCPip
TCPPort 1500
TCPServeraddress 192.168.40.157
httpport 1581
nodename in_gurg_prod1
dirmc dir_class
domain /datalvm
domain /
passwordaccess generate
My setup for the dsm.opt is
se in_gurg_prod1
any help appreciated

Do you have a management class called "dir_class" in the domain and active policyset the new nodes are using?
