Oracle Linux and TSM BAC
Does anyone know if the TSM BAC will run on Oracle Linux? A customer has just asked me this question. I see support for Redhat and Suse but not much else.
Also they would want to run the TDP for Oracle on the Oracle Linux box. All I have seen is RedHat and SuSe.

You can try installing the BA client and TDP for Oracle but that's about it.
I don't know if IBM officially supports this.Ed

That is pretty much what I thought. The issue for the customer is that there would be no support if there are problems. Thanks.

AFAIK the package base is the same as on Red Hat (or CentOS), but OEL is not listed as a supported OS:
