Restore tape without DB

Hi All,

This is my first message and also a problematic message.

The server we had Tivoli installed has crashed and all data is gone. I have several LTO tapes backed up via Tivoli Storage Manager Express. How can I restore this tapes ?

Hi,

TSM Express used tapes for creating copies of data using backupsets (under the hood) - so using standard BA client and restoring the backupset from locally attached tape should work.
Not sure how you can do it for MSSQL and MS Exchange backups (if you have those) without original (TSMExpress) clients.
