Default ANR1086E Space reclamation is ended for volume

ANR1086E Space reclamation is ended for volume TAP21L4. There is insufficient space in storage pool.

I am confused at one point I got this so increased # of max scratch to 999, that seemed to fix it temporarily and then got the error on another volumes. Does this mean I need more scratch tapes? Right now everything is marked private?

Yes, reclamation requires scratch tapes. Your reuse delay shows that after reclamation empties a tape, that tape will not return to scratch for 7 days. Check for tapes with a PENDING status.

    Thanks

Is 7 days the right value? I remember reading or learning somwhere it should be the same as what I have in drmstats. Is that accurate?

Yes the reuse should match the DB expire days and DR plan setting. This is to allow you to recover node data vis-a-vis the TSM DB.
