Looking for a TSM Trainer (20 - 30 hours) - Long Beach, CA - Immediate Need
Hello friends,
I am looking for a TSM expert, who can provide training for new users for one of our customers in Long Beach, CA. This gig would start around July 30 or second week of August 2012. It all depends on your schedule
Here is the statement of work.
• Identify how IBM Tivoli Storage Manager serves as a tool for data management and protection
• Identify major components of the IBM Tivoli Storage Manager solution
• TSM client and server components .(unix and windows environment)
• Storage pools, Device class concepts along with command line syntax
• Various processes regarding pools and data flow
• Commands to configure tape library
• Unix/Aix level and wintel commands to check library and drive status (basic troubleshootings)
• Policy management of TSM, retention versions concepts along with command line syntax
• Include/Excludes in TSM how they work
• Disaster recovery concepts .Disaster recovery cycle along with TSM commands
• Sceenshots and step by step installation and configuration of TSM server and client in windows environment..(. This will cover every installation and configuration step in TSM)
• Advanced TSM troubleshooting concepts such as how to recover from log and server crash and how to perform database restores
• Introduction to LAN free tsm backups and Tivoli data protection ( high end TSM products) for every environment like databases

TSM Version 5, Release 5, Level 1.1
Windows 2003 R2 Std. SP2
