the first paragraph of "help generate backupset" states that only BA client data can be referenced
Use this command to generate a backup set for a backup-archive client
node. A backup set is a collection of a client's active backed up data,
stored and managed as a single object, on specific media, in server
storage. While the server allows you to create a backup set for any
client node, a backup set can only be used by a backup-archive client."If we knew what it was we were doing, it would not be called research, would it?" -- Albert Einstein

I do not know if you can do anything with that backupset. The BA client will not be able to restore a filespace laid down by a TDP. Why do you need to have a backupset? Are you trying to transfer the data to another location. If so then do a SQL backup dump to disk and back it up with the BA Client. Then you can create a backupset of that dump file.

I got nothing for you other than if you are willing to halt Notes you can
- register a new node specifically for this purpose,
- backup the directory structure that contains the nsf files using the BA Client and then
- create a backupset of that node after restarting Notes
Since I am not familiar with Notes administration I have no way of knowing if you can do anything with these files on the receiving end after you restore using the backupset."If we knew what it was we were doing, it would not be called research, would it?" -- Albert Einstein
