TSM for VE Exclusions
Hello...I am currently excluding VMs with a -VM=vmname1,vmname2,vmname3,vmname4
I have this same set up on several datamovers with in a vm cluster in case the vm changes hosts within the cluster.
I would like to know if you can utilize an external file list of vm's to exclude and point to it rather than listing each vm listed above. Does anyone know if this is possible? Having trouble finding anything in IBM documentation.
Something like:
-VM= C:\Program Files\TSM\baclient\vmexclude.txt
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you.

I don't think this is an option.
What you can do is write a script that will present the VM Ware 'nodes' listed on the "-VM=" line.Ed
