    Default TSM6.2.4 deduplication issues

Hi all, hoping you can help!

I am running TSM 6.2.4 server on windows server 2008 x64. Our backups are working fine, however deduplication is not. The 'identify duplicates' processes are running against the FILE storage pool, but not actually processing anything, they just sit at 'active'. I have tried setting the number of identification processes for the storage pool to 0, restarting the TSM server and manually kicking off the deduplication process using 'id dup', however the same thing happens. If I cancel the processes they don't disappear either.

As we only have one storage pool and no copy pool I have turned off the deduprequiresbackup option, so this is not the cause.

I've probably left a whole heap of information out, but if anyone has any ideas I'd be very grateful!

    Thanks,

    Sean

Call support! Sounds like a bug more than a setting issue.
