Default Backing up vol hist and device config

What would be the best practice for storing the device configuration file and vol history file offsite? Should I just copy the files to a external disk? Where are these files located? Thanks for your time on this.

I recommend you e-mail to multiple people on your team/group. That way the data is accessible outside the offsite providers location so you can review it an then alert them to what tapes are required for recovery. You can still send a copy offsite, but I'd rather be able to review it then recall the tapes rather than have them return you DR plan file and then having to contact them again to recall your tapes (unless you just plan to have them all recalled).
