    Default TSM DB Migration

    Our TSM server v6.1.3 is on AIX.
    Is it possible to migrate TSM server to a linux platform.Is is possible to restore TSM DB on AIX to Linux server.

    No, No and No! You cannot restore any alternate OS's TSM DB backup to another TSM instance. What you can do is a server to server EXPORT-IMPORT. It's not pretty, but it can be done in a way that the data is moved in increments until the two servers are sync'd, but I'd suggest you just start from scratch with any new alt. OS TSM server.
