Transaction Delay - Adjustment?
TSM Server 5.5
ANR2997W The server log is 81 percent full. The server will delay transactions by 3 milliseconds.
Is there an option to change the 81 percent?

More than likely there is a long running session(s) that is pinning the recovery log and when the backup db run not all the data in the recovery log are committed to the database.
How big is the recovery log?
Good Luck,

Nothing bad was happening. Just alot of small file data had come in. Recovery log was up to 83%. My dbbackup trigger was 85%. I was hoping I could change the 81% threshold so I could keep my dbbackup trigger at 85%. No big deal. I dropped it back down to 80% so a backup occurs before the 81% when the server starts slowing down transaction processing.

I did not think that there was a parameter that the value can be adjusted, take a look at this -

Thanks Sias. My LOGWARNFULLPERCENT is 70. According to the document, that is a warning that occurs every 2% increase after reaching the warning level. Just a warning. No transaction delays like the 81% ANR2997W message is.
