Exactly how much data is on a tape

Hi,

Anyone know a TSM command I can run to find out exactly how much data is on a tape.

We have JA 300GB native tape estimating 1.3 to 1.7TB which makes no sense what so ever.

So this is showing almost 6:1 compression which is crazy.

Don't discount it. If the data going to the tape is DB related you could be seeing 6:1 compression. Many DB's are highly compressible.

As Chad said, 'don't discount it!' - I have seen a lot of these in my old environment.
