You need to download the TSM for Database "gold" clients via Passport Advantage, updates are available from the FTP site.
    http://www-01.ibm.com/software/howto..._customers.htm
    ftp://ftp.software.ibm.com/storage/t...ge-management/

However your question is confusing, you want to install MS SQL on RHEL?

You can't install MS SQL on Linux! Thus, no TSM TDP client exist.

That download will not include the license file required to run TSM for Databases.... it's just a patch.
You'll need to download the base client via Passport Advantage first, then install the patch.

v6.3 is the latest version for SQL.

To install MS SQL TDP client on a windows 2008 machine,
does the machine need to have TSM backup-archive client and TSM API be already installed ?

Is there any step by step doc on how to install and configure MS SQL TSM client ?
    thanks in advance!

Just a quick question without having a look yet at PDF yet

    - TSM BA client needs to be installed first and then MS SQL client right ?
    - Does the MS SQL client will install API client also ?

    Hi,
Just install the BA client as normal. That includes all the API.

Then install TDP SQL. It will find your api automatically during installation.
