Tivoli Integrated Portal - Malformed CLIENTACTION command
Hello,
I installed TSM Server 6.3.1 and Tivoli Integrated Portal 6.3.1.
It's a test environment but we will migrate our 5.5.5 server to this 6.3.1 environment in about a week.
Schedules are working fine. But "Client Actions" created from the Web administration center (TIP -
Tivoli Integrated Portal) are malformed.
According to the "help define clientaction" when you ask for an incremental, you don't need to provide
"objects" parameter. Only if your want an incremental for peculiar filespaces. So in TIP, I choose
"Incremental" and provide nothing in the field that would serve for the "objects" parameter.
In TIP, it generates command:
DEFINE CLIENTACTION SC-EMERAUDE-DR DOMAIN=DO_CRIM ACTION=INCREMENTAL OBJECTS=null
In ISC, it would generate (I tried...):
DEFINE CLIENTACTION SC-EMERAUDE-DR DOMAIN=DO_CRIM ACTION=INCREMENTAL
The result with the client action started with TIP is that the node generate an error:
05/04/2012 13:11:18 Incremental backup of volume 'null'
05/04/2012 13:11:18 ANS1076E The specified directory path could not be found.
I can't find any other person who have that problem on Google... Am I an outsider?
Will I have to give all filespaces of the node whenever I want to do a client action?
Is it because my Web TIP interface is in french?
Thank you for your help.
