Schedule Log Time Date

Why does TSM schedule log information, when directed to a file (within a script) drop the time/date at the beginning of each record? Can it be added so it's like the schedule log defined in dsm.sys. This is a UNIX environment. The client is 6.2. Server is 5.5.3.

Once you run backups via scripts, TSM will only give you logs on what is going on. Time and date tracking is not part of the command line but is a function of the API within TSM once the scheduler is invoked for backups.

If you need time and date, you have to provide this before and after the backup runs but won't give you a blow-by-blow time/date recording.

I am afraid there is no way to have this when using a script and invoking dsmc.
