Can you restart a failed DB2 backup?
Anyone know if you can restart a DB2 backup from the last transaction point before the failure? I know Oracle can, I would think DB2 could. If so how. Searching Google I haven't found the needed information. On a side not our DB2 server experienced the following error.
04/13/12 08:24:33 ANR0530W Transaction failed for session 224718 for node
PRDODM1A_DB2 (DB2/AIX64) - internal server error
detected. (SESSION: 22471
It's a LAN-Free client so I did see some notes on issues with LAN-Free to disk but this does to VTL.

My DBA's tell me it has to start all over. Ridiculous! Oracle has been able to restart a failed backup since early 2000!
