Typical within 90days from the product is released. That means they will support MS SQL 2012 from July this year.

I have just installed 5.5.6.0-TIV-TSMSQL-WinX64.exe

Does it support ms sql 2012, as it is the latest I could find?

I get the following error:
ACO5424E Cold not connect to SQL server; SQL server returned:
Failed to connect to server PMS-GDC-S-SQL1.
A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections. (provider: Name Pipes Provider, error: 40 - Could not open a connection to SQL Server) (HRESULT:0x80131501)

Edit: Found the problem

SQL Server Virtual Name is different than the Node Name. For example, if the computer name is "COMPUTER1" but the SQL Server is named "SERVER1", you will get this error.

No, It don't support SQL 2012. Tivoli has informed me that they will come with a new release for TDP for MSSQL that support SQL 2012. Expected released in Q4 2012. Until then you must use DB dumps, ntbackup or other...
