Changing pre- postschedules on same node?
Hi everyone,
Im having a server with a rather large Oracle database.
The server neeeds a full DB backup once a day and log fil backup every 4 hours.
I would like to use the preschedulecmd and postschedulecmd to tricker a RMAN to do its backup to disk. This part is under controle.
The problem now, is how to use different preschedulecmd scripts to do the DB and log backup? I can make different schedules for the log and DB backup, but how do i change the pre- postschedule commands?
Do i really have to use 2 different clients on the same server in order to have different pre- post- scripts executed?

Use conditional scripts for the pre and post commands.
