Backup set from tapes.
Hi,
I need to generate a backupset for data stored in LTO tapes, the nodes im trying to generate the backup set are OLD nodes that holds its information within a LTO pool.
Is that possible or should i need to run a new full backup for those nodes?
What would be the best approach?
Thanks
Vicente Ayala.

See 'help generate backupset'
Essentially, you don't have to run another backup. If the data on tape (assuming all of the tapes are in the library) is valid, TSM will create the backupset from the tape pool.Ed
