quoting backslashes in dsmadmc
I'm trying to delete a Windows filespace using dsmadmc on Linux, and I get:
tsm: PELICAN>delete filespace DSRV1.MSI \\dsrv1\f$
ANR0852E DELETE FILESPACE: No matching file spaces found for node DSRV1.MSI.
It exists:
tsm: PELICAN>q filespace DSRV1.MSI
...
DSRV1.MSI \\dsrv1\f$ 4 WinNT NTFS Yes 1,907,727.0 36.3
...
I've tried putting it in single quotes, double quotes, backslashing the dollar sign, backslashing the backslashes, and quite a few combinations thereof. What am I missing here?

try:
del fi DSRV1.MSI 4 nametype=fsidIf Microsoft is the answer, I want my problem back!

Yeah as DOMINO said, I recommend you always use the FSID rather than the actual FS name. It's a lot easier to run the command.

Think
delete filespace DSRV1.MSI \\dsrv1\f$ NAMEType=UNIcode
would have also worked...
