Hi Gurus, i hope someone can help me on this one.

I´m wondering if i´m using a NAS storage as secondary repository for a External Archiving Solution (i.e. Symantec EV, Simpana Commvault) and i want to do a daily backup on my primary storage (also a NAS) using NDMP. Does TSM only backup the full active files and Stubs or does it goes all the way down to the archive repository for the Stubs?

I know NDMP 4.0 says it´ll backup stubs only, but i got conflicting information about what really happens.

Anyone have experienced some situation like this?

BTW, i´m not planning on using a anti-virus on this environment.
