Invalid password - Urgen Help!!
Environment: Platform: Windows 2008 R2 64 bits TSM Server version: 6.2.2.0 baclient version: 6.2.2.0 tdpora: 5.5.2 Hi: I have a big problem since this morning. Suddenly I experiments problems using tipadmin and trying to access for example to storagepools information. After this, I reboot the TSM Server machine and then I experimented the next error trying to access to CLI (dsmadmc), from TSM Server: c:\Program Files\Tivoli\TSM\server\tsmdiag>dsmadmc IBM Tivoli Storage Manager Command Line Administrative Interface - Version 5, Release 4, Level 1.0 (c) Copyright by IBM Corporation and other(s) 1990, 2007. All Rights Reserved. Enter your user id: tsmadmin Enter your password: ******* ANS1051I Invalid password ANS1033E An invalid TCP/IP address was specified. ANS8023E Unable to establish session with server. ANS8002I Highest return code was -53. I really don't know what happens, cause there where no changed password request by the server. The only other thing that I did earlier, this morning, is starting to configure tdpora on a linux server, executing tdpconf password I am really worry for this situation, cause I guess this night the backup will not run. Anybody have an idea that what happens?

Can you please clarify the below...
1. From which system you are trying to access the TSM server i.e.,from TSM client or TSM server OS...?
2. Can you please paste dsmerror.log output occured when you try to access TSM server

I am trying to access from TSM Server OS (Windows 2008 R2 64 bits).
From c:\Program Files\Tivoli\TSM\server\tsmdiag\dsmerror.log:
07/01/2011 14:52:55 ANS4039E Could not establish a session with a TSM server or client agent. The TSM return code is -53.
07/01/2011 14:52:55 ANS1033E An invalid TCP/IP address was specified.
07/01/2011 14:52:55 ANS8023E Unable to establish session with server.

Seems to be problem with your TSM server IP address...Can you ping your TSM server IP from command IP...If it fails please check you interface....If it is success please cehck TSM server IP in dsm.sys files....

PIng is working
As I know, on windows environment there is no dsm.sys file, just only dsm.opt
I found this on another forum, for fix account/password issues:
1. Stop TSM server process
2. Start the TSM server process as a foreground task (run dsmserv from the directory that contains your dsmserv.dsk file)
3. You are now accessing TSM using the "server_console" admin ID - you can fix whatever account/password issues you might have from here
I start tsm server in foreground but, I don't know to try to fix this password issue.
Any idea?

Have tried to connect from any other TSM clients...As I know we are working on AIX-TSM environments...We can access any of other TSM clients also by using dsmadmc...? Check if it may works....

I solved!!
First of all, appreciate your rapid assistance Ravi.
How do I solved?
1.- net stop "tsm server1"
2.- Run tsm server in foreground, executing dsmserv.exe (which resides on c:\Program Files\Tivoli\TSM\server\). This enter to server console admin
3.- update admin tsmadmin <password> passexp=0
4.- Quit from tsm server in foreground
5.- net start "tsm server1"
Now I will research why tsmadmin password was reset or what really happened.
