    Default active/active TSM servers

I would like to propose a setup with two active TSM servers, in order to provide higher availability for backups and restores of production data. The two TSM servers are in separate sites.
One way to achieve this for Oracle servers would be to have RMAN & TDPO send two copies of each backup, one to each TSM sever. Has anyone done this ?
I noticed that TDPO provides duplexing of backups to different MgmtClasses, not to different TSM servers as I want. So there would have to be some scripting.
What about the approach with Export Node from one TSM server to another - any experience for large volumes ?
    thnks,
    Bartdo

Do you have the libraries on a shared SAN with decent speeds between sites? If so then library sharing with copy pool data being sent to the remote library is a fairly standard configuration.

You can do it with DB2 HADR setup for TSM. Read about it here.

    Thanks Chad,
I did not realise that NFS mounted StgPools was supported. Is that new ?

However, I would qualify this as a Cold (or Warm) standby. I am looking for a HOT standby. That is both TSM servers are active.
