Restore directories not visible in GUI
When I start the GUI on a 6.2 client and select Restore, the directory structure listed does not match what was backed up (dsmsched.log). I can do CLI restores for the 'missing' directories but the GUI will not see them. Has anyone seen this before? I have asked IBM but no response so far...

Hi, Doug!
Do you have a DIRMC setting in your dsm.opt file? If so, is the management class to which it is pointing of a shorter retention period than the management class to which your files are bound to?

due to retention issue, you were not able to see the directories in GUI.
try command line --- it works*Everybody loves TSM (if understood
