TDP Licensing when upgrading from 5.5 to 6.1
If you currently have the TDPs for Exchange and SQL Server licensed for 5.x, to go to 6.1 do you have to get a new license? Does the current license cover the upgrade to the new version? Will it cost more to go to the 6.1 version? I don't get involved much in the licensing side so please excuse the ignorance.

Hi
I think the version is irrelevant. Its all about the number/type of cores for PVU calculation purposes when it comes to licensing.
You shouldn't have to do anything license wise when you upgrade to 6.1..
Cheers
