    Default File Permission change

    If the share permissions are changed on a directory will all the files in that directory be seen as changed files, thus causing a full backup

    Typically, yes. This used to bite us really bad on massive Windows cluster before moving it to a NAS solution.

    TSM Admin since ADSM v2... wow, I'm not even that old yet either!

    Thanks I had suspected this happened and just got a reply from the Admin who made the mass security change with out notifying me.
