Hi all,
I try to restore my db in a different directory with:
[admin@tsm-server-1 ~]$ /opt/tivoli/tsm/server/bin/dsmserv restore db on=/home/admin/DB_Restore/mnt/TSM_DB/DB/admin/NODE0000/TSMDB1/

I try also with dbdir.file that contains /home/admin/DB_Restore/mnt/TSM_DB/DB/admin/NODE0000/TSMDB1/

but the error is always the same:

This sql error indicate:

SQL0970N The system attempted to write to a read-only file.

Explanation:

A file used by the database is marked read-only or does not exist. The
database requires write access to this file.

The statement cannot be processed.

User response:

Terminate the application on receipt of this message (SQLCODE). Ensure
that all database files are allowed both read and write access. Check
for unnecessary blank spaces within the specified filename.


The user admin can write inside the dir
[admin@tsm-server-1 ~]$ touch /home/admin/DB_Restore/mnt/TSM_DB/DB/admin/NODE0000/TSMDB1/pippo
[admin@tsm-server-1 ~]$
