Access TSM database from ODBC on Linux
Hi,
I have a TSM 5.5.2.1 server running on Linux x86_64, from which I would like to extract data to generate some HTML reports (something like the reports that TSM on Windows generates).
Querying the database by calling "dsmadmc" and parsing the output is something I would like to avoid. Is there a way to connect to the database over ODBC on Linux?

You can use the TSM ODBC driver for windows to connect to a TSM server on any platform. It works very well. There is no ODBC driver for linux so you'll need to run the querries from a Windows system.
