    Default Moving node domain

    Hi,

There is a node i would like to move to a different domain for versionning reasons (the node should not be in the domain it is in basically).
The domain i want to move the node to is there with pol mc and cop, all defined.
The destination pool for backups is identical on both domains and so is the archive destination.
My understanding is that i can just do update node mynode domain=new_domain.
I am aware that i'll have to associate the node with a new shedule obviously but is there anything else i should be aware of before i go and break things?

    Thank you.

the value of Managment classes is same between the 2 domains?
after your domain is change, you do a backup. You can specify the same time to start that the older schedule

    Thanks Samuel,

Yes copy group destination entries are identical for both domains i.e. data is written to same stgpools - is that all we're interested in - here? Can i just move my node to a different domain?

    Thanks.

    Yes you can now.
The principal of this moving is that you do the same values for the retentions. because if you don't have the same values it's possible to lose old data, versions, etc...
