TOC deletion
Hi All,
I'm hoping that someone can help me though I dread the answer. When we first implemented TSM with our NetApp devices we began taking TOCs which each NDMP backup. We create TBs of data periodically throughout the year, backup the data to tape for legal reasons and then delete the data from disk. I stopped taking TOCs a while ago as we have a database record of what file was where on disk so that I can restore individual files without the TOC.
However, I now have GBs of TOC data which I don't need. Can I delete these TOCs somehow or do I have to restore the data and back it up again without a TOC?
Many thanks in advance,
Phill
