Dear all this is my critical issue please help

The previous TSM admin had installed and configured TDP for Oracle on AIX environment....

when i perform tdpoconf -showenv the o/p is like this

ANS1473E (RC-450) Session rejected: TCP/IP connection failure for Shared Memory





i wanna change the password : I tried to change but the communication method is stated as SHARED MEMORY .,,. how can i change it to tcpip...
please help mee it is soo critical to me...

Edit the dsm.sys file to have it as tcpip instead of shared memory?

In the first place, why shared memory? Does the Oracle server reside in the same server as the TSM Server?

I cannot change the parameter of DSMI_ORC_CONFIG to usr/tivoli/tsm/client/oracle/bin64/dsm.sys as it was dsm.opt

When i change it is throwing an error stating "ANS0220E (RC400) An invalid option was found during option parsing."

how to make the tdpo.opt to use dsm.sys rather than dsm.opt

To change the password, run the command: tdpoconfig password

Look for any dsm.sys file under /usr/tivoli/tsm/client/api/bin64 and see if the file contains any line point to shared memory.
