Windows 2008 Cluster
Hi guys,
I am a bit new to TSM and I'm trying to configure the baclient (5.5.2) to backup local and shared disk between two Windows 2008 servers. Can the baclient be configured to back-up local disk and if it is the active host in the cluster back-up the shared disk also?
Thanks

Hi,
yes search the support sites for more info.
There is a info for 2003 cluster config.
For 2008 it is a bit different but you can get it working.
Furthermore there is information in BA Client Admin Guide
regards

In the TSM V5.5 "Backup-Archive Clients Installation and User’s Guide" for Windows, check out Appendix D:
"Configuring the backup-archive client in a cluster server environment".
This should get you started.

Thanks for the help guys. I got it up and running, the instructions from the admin guide were a little off and unclear for Win 2008 server. Sorry for the slow response.
