CBMR failed with ERROR: BMS0001: General failure
I'm still newbie’s for BMR software. Just for better understanding can anyone clarify with me whether my understanding on CBMR is correct .We are using TSM 126.96.36.199 ver and CBMR client running on 5.1.3 .
1.CBMR backup up OS only ? or any drive mounted in the server?
let say if there is C D drive and os on C drive cbmr will backup C only or both drive ?
2:how to view backup list or history via command line ?
i run the cbmr manually and getting this error from disrec.Err logs. There server have C and D i dont know why TSM recognized C drive as F drive (ENTRY: F:\WINDOWS\SoftwareDistribution\*) and D drive ( ENTRY: G:\CIFINST\NODE0000\CIFDB\T0000008\C0000000.USR) as G drive ?

There is an article on the Crisite knowledge base regarding the SYS1450 error.
In addition you appear to have a TSM communication failure(ANS1017E) this is quite often network issues, or the config setting in you dsm config files.
Regarding you questions as whether CBMR backs up all drives on the system. This is spoecified when your create you backup scripts.
If you are using CBMR with TSM as you appear to be, the recommendation is to use CBMR to backup the OS and TSM to back up user and application data.
Hope this helps.
